Blessings on our new Bishop-Elect Robert Withrow.
Welcome. The first thing you'll probably notice about an Apostolic Catholic Church worshipping community is how small it is;that you can't hide in the last pew because there isn't one. The regular service is the Holy Eucharist. Some services are very formal and others are very informal. All services include readings from the Scriptures and psalms, a sermon or homily.
The services is liturgical, which means that the service follows a certain form (called the order of service). If you've never experienced liturgical worship, the order of service can seem mysterious at first, but you'll always get a prayer book that tells you what to say, when to say it, and what to do next. And, after a few visits, you'll know the service so well that you might not need the book at all! If you grew up in a liturgical denomination, you won't have any trouble following the order of service.
You might say that the Apostolic Catholic Church is characterized by variety. But the common purpose in any of these worship services is to bring us all into joyful relationship with God.
Come with us as we recieve forgiveness, are fed by the words of Scripture, celebrate the sacrifice of Christ, and are strengthened by the Holy Spirit. You are always welcome.
